Es un conjunto de 16 cuentos, cuya temática oscila entre el género histórico, lo erótico y la temática psicológica. Incluye algunos relatos premiados en certámenes internacionales (entre ellos, un cuento galardonado por la edición ibérica de la revista Playboy). El volumen fue traducido al inglés y publicado en los EEUU, suscitando la acogida muy favorable de la crítica local. Ha sido acreedor a los principales galardones que hoy se otorgan en Chile a obras publicadas, como el premio del Consejo Nacional del Libro y la Lectura y el Premio Municipal de Santiago.
